Cranberrry Apple Stuffing for your holiday turkey

I think dried cranberries are about the best invention ever.  Try them in this fantastic stuffing.  You will need the following ingredients:
16 to 19 oz. bag of  stuffing cubes (I like the fresh made kind from the bakery)
1 apple chopped
1 cup dried cranberries
1 1/2 cups celery diced
1 1/2 cups onion diced
1 can chicken broth
1/2 cup milk
1 egg beaten
2 Tblsp butter melted
1 tsp ground sage
1 tsp poultry seasoning
1/2 tsp pepper
Place the stuffing mix in an extra large bowl.  Add the chopped apple, diced celery and onions, and craisins.  In another bowl combine the beaten egg, milk, broth, melted butter, and spices.  Pour over the stuffing and mix well to coat.  This makes enough to stuff the front and back of the turkey plus some extra which I wrap in foil and toss in the oven about an hour before the turkey is done.  It is a little drier than the batch inside the turkey so I mix it all together before serving.
